We were very happy to engage A&M Construction to complete a refurbishment of our bungalow after Paul had previously repaired some of the many leaks in our plumbing. Paul and Lewis successfully oversaw the entire project from start to finish and we are delighted with the results. They helped with the design of the project and were able to incorporate the many changes we made during the process resulting in a fantastic refurbishment which has exceeded expectations. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and Paul and Lewis were able to come up with creative solutions to problems the build threw up. We started to work with A&M Construction soon after we had bought our property in April 2021. Paul installed a new oil tank, boiler and partial new pipe work to render the original system fit for purpose. We decided to plan a major refurbishment to the house, so later in 2021 we invited several local main contractors to quote including A&M. They offered a competitive pricing structure, so we awarded them the contract, which began in March 2022. The schedule of works was extensive. External works included new windows, a new wrap around balcony, new decked terraces to the garden, new hard landscaping, dry stone walling, and a full repaint, Internal works included all flooring, new joists, soundproofing , all new plasterwork, all new mechanical & electrical throughout, five new bathrooms and a new kitchen. Working in conjunction with our project manager and architect, A&M delivered a first class job, working to a well-managed budget, and were a pleasure to work with. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.
